what you can do to help

The simplest thing you can do to help out your local Books 2
Prisoners group is to come to one of our worknights!

At worknights, we answer letters and package books to
send to prisoners: Sundays, 4-7 p.m. at Nowe Miasto [223
Jane Place in Midcity].

Do you have an idea for a Books 2 Prisoners fundraiser?

Do you or someone you know have experience researching and writing grants?

Books 2 Prisoners is funded almost entirely from personal donations and the sale of donated books.  Any insight into other fundraising sources, suggestions for events to sell books and distribute information at, or other ways to connect with our community and the world at large are welcome.

We also have an internal listserv for those interested in helping
out with organizational and logistical tasks. This is a somewhat high
volume email list. For an invitation send a message to books2prisoners@gmail.com.
