We’ll be tabling today from 3-5 today at the Porch 7th Ward Cultural Organization’s Block Party. That’s at 1362 St. Anthony St.
Immediately preceding the block party, there will be a youth-led round-table discussion. Topics include: “New Freedom Schools” – Justice in Education, Cradle to Prison Pipeline, “New Jim Crow” – Immigrant Students’ Rights, “Resistance, Solidarity, Self-Determination” – Art as Activism.
Discussion starts at noon.
We’ve heard really good things about these moderators. Should be an exciting talk!
